Parramatta Light Rail

The Western Sydney Business Chamber has been advocating for light rail between Parramatta, Westmead and nearby areas to enhance connectivity within Parramatta and to one of Sydney’s innovation hubs. The Western Sydney Business Chamber partnered with other local business and community groups to advocate for light rail in Parramatta and Westmead.
In February 2017, the NSW Government announced the route for the first stage of the light rail project between Westmead and nearby areas. The Western Sydney Business Chamber will continue to engage on this project as construction commences and plans for additional stages are developed.
